Echofirm
Terms of Use
Updated and effective: September 19, 2026
1. Provider and scope
These Terms of Use govern your use of Echofirm, provided by Kindling Wood Studio (“we”, “us”). Contact support@kindlingwoodstudio.com. Our contact details also appear at the end of this page. These terms apply to versions distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store, including mainland China and other storefronts, where available.
Please read the purchase, renewal, data-backup and responsibility provisions carefully. These terms apply when validly accepted under applicable law. Merely visiting this page is not consent to personal information processing. Store transaction terms and mandatory consumer law also apply.
2. What Echofirm provides
Echofirm offers personal affirmations, recordings, reminders, customization and reflective or tactile practices. Features and paid offers can vary by version, device and storefront. An Echofirm account is not required. The app does not provide a public social feed or a developer-operated cloud library of your personal content.
Echofirm is a general well-being tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or emergency service. It does not promise any particular health outcome and should not replace qualified care. Stop a practice if it causes discomfort; seek professional advice for health concerns and local emergency services if immediate help is needed.
3. Eligibility and permitted use
You must be legally able to enter this agreement or have a parent or guardian’s valid authorization where required. Follow the store’s age restrictions and purchase authorization rules. An age rating does not itself authorize a minor’s purchase.
Subject to these terms, applicable store rules and payment for any paid feature, you may use the app for your personal, lawful purposes. Do not compromise the verification service, submit fraudulent purchase proofs, distribute malicious material, or commercially redistribute the app or licensed assets without permission. Restrictions do not limit rights granted by law or applicable open-source licenses.
4. Your content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in your own text, recordings and images. You permit the app to store, display, play, edit, export and share that content only as needed to perform the actions you choose. This does not transfer ownership to us or grant a general right to publish or advertise with it. Make sure you have permission to use material belonging to others.
The app’s code, design and supplied materials belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party and open-source materials remain governed by their own licenses, available in the app’s license information where applicable. Buying access does not transfer ownership of the app or third-party assets.
5. Paid features, renewal and trials
The store purchase screen is the authoritative place to review the available product, included features, price, currency, billing period, taxes and any trial or promotion before you confirm. We do not promise that every plan is offered in every region.
Auto-renewing subscriptions continue to renew until cancelled through the store. Payment is charged through your store account under the checkout terms. A trial, if offered, may convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled by the stated deadline. No trial is promised unless it appears in the offer you accept. Renewal prices and any required notices or consent are handled under store rules and applicable law.
Cancel through Google Play subscriptions or Apple subscriptions. Follow the deadline shown by the store; Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Deleting Echofirm or emailing support does not cancel a store subscription. After cancellation you normally retain paid access for the remainder of the paid period, subject to refunds, revocation and store rules.
If a non-consumable one-time unlock is offered, its scope is what the purchase screen states. It does not auto-renew. A “lifetime” label describes an ongoing license to the purchased feature set, not an obligation to keep every device, future product or network service supported forever. This does not permit us to erase your statutory rights or remove paid entitlements arbitrarily.
6. Restore purchases, refunds and availability
Use the same store account and the app’s restore function to restore eligible purchases. Verification requires network access and store availability; a pending payment or temporary verification failure can delay activation. Contact us if access remains unavailable. A purchase on one store is not promised to transfer to another store or storefront, and Family Sharing depends on the actual product configuration.
For refund requests, use Google Play’s refund process or Apple’s Report a Problem, or contact us for assistance. Eligibility depends on applicable law, purchase circumstances and store rules. These terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or waive cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, price-reduction or refund rights provided by law. A refund or revoked transaction may end the corresponding paid access.
7. Local data, privacy and backups
Read our Privacy Policy for local storage, Firebase diagnostics, purchase verification and your rights. The policy is a notice, not a blanket authorization for all processing.
Keep backups of content you want to retain before reinstalling, changing devices or importing another backup. Exported ZIP backups are not password-encrypted by Echofirm; choose a secure destination. Device failure, removal of app data or replacing a database can cause loss. We cannot restore content we do not hold. These practical limitations do not exclude responsibility imposed on us by law.
8. Updates, changes and ending use
We may release maintenance and security updates or change features for technical, legal or product reasons. We will give reasonable notice of changes materially affecting purchased access where practicable, and provide remedies required by law. A materially adverse change to an existing paid commitment will not be used to avoid our obligations.
You may stop using the app at any time; separately cancel any store subscription to stop renewal. We may restrict network access or verified paid access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, a serious breach, security threats or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Ending use does not authorize deletion of your local content by us and does not remove accrued consumer claims.
9. Responsibility and consumer protection
We will provide the service with the care required by applicable law. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every future operating system or a particular personal outcome. You remain responsible for using the app safely and safeguarding devices and exports.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or breach of mandatory consumer guarantees. Any limits in these terms apply only to the extent permitted by law. We do not impose a fixed nominal liability cap, a blanket indemnity, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of collective claims through this page.
10. App Store and Google Play terms
For Apple downloads, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license unless a valid custom EULA is separately supplied through the store. This page supplements use and purchase information; it is not intended to replace that Standard EULA. In a conflict about the Apple license, the applicable EULA and mandatory law control. Apple is not the provider of Echofirm’s support or content.
Google Play downloads and transactions are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. The store’s own terms do not replace our obligations as the app provider. Nothing here expands store sharing or licensing permissions.
11. Regional rights and disputes
Mandatory protections in the place where you ordinarily reside remain available, including applicable mainland Chinese consumer law and EEA/UK digital-content rights. The laws applicable to a dispute are determined under the relevant legal rules; this page does not require all users to accept a foreign court or surrender their local consumer remedies.
Please contact us first if you wish to seek an informal resolution. This is optional and does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or consumer authority, or bringing proceedings before a court with lawful jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms apply to the extent legally permitted.
12. Changes, language and contact
Material revisions will be identified by an updated date and, where required, additional notice or renewed acceptance. They do not retroactively remove accrued rights. English is the website’s default display language; the Chinese version is provided separately. Neither language selection nor a translation discrepancy overrides mandatory rights.
